QMS LifeLine™ utilises the latest laser technology to measure the reflective performance of road markings and road studs in situ. Furthermore, each location tested has a full colour, forward facing HD video of the area that is time-stamped to the accompanying spreadsheets and graph reports. This enables the engineer to view the area tested from the comfort of their own workstation against the results obtained for a clear, easy-to-use system.
Each survey is completed by our own team at traffic speeds without the need for any specific traffic management, significantly reducing costs and time whilst eliminating disruption to the surrounding road user.
The equipment is calibrated twice-daily and each survey is fully compliant with CS-126 providing total peace of mind to our customers that they can rely on the information provided for accuracy and consistency.

Retro-reflectivity occurs when an object, in our case line markings, reflects light directly back to the source of the light (in most cases vehicle headlights). To ensure that all line markings are visible at night and in other adverse conditions, we complete reflectivity testing on highways and all roads, to ensure these line markings are visible.
