QMS HyperLine™

HyperLine™ and HyperLine™ ULTRA are cold-applied, spray-on systems designed to rejuvenate existing road markings on motorways and dual carriageways.

Applied directly over existing markings, with no removal, no heat, and no fossil-fuel burners, they restore colour, retro-reflectivity, and wet-night visibility fast, with up to 89% less CO₂ than thermoplastic.

HyperLine™

The proven choice for edge-line refurbishment on motorways and dual carriageways. HyperLine™ uses a solvent-free acrylic resin with embedded recycled glass beads, spray-applied directly over existing markings using computer-controlled equipment.

Applications: Overspray of edge-line markings on motorways and dual carriageways. Hatching and chevrons (hand spray).
Speed: Transforms up to 30,000 m of 200 mm edge line per 8-hour shift (approx. 6,000 m²).

HyperLine™ ULTRA

Built specifically for superior wet-night performance. HyperLine™ ULTRA uses larger, high refractive index beads to maximise retro-reflectivity in the heaviest rain, when drivers need it most. It is also the ideal overspray system for rejuvenating QMS EcoRib™ and EcoRib PLUS™ profiled edge lines.

Applications: Overspray of lane-line markings on motorways and dual carriageways. Rejuvenation of QMS EcoRib™ and EcoRib PLUS™ systems.
Speed: Rapid deployment of up to 40,000 m of lane line per 8-hour shift.
Sustainability: Saves 81% CO₂ versus thermoplastic over equivalent output.
Visibility: Delivers 500+ mcd/m²/lux on application and a guaranteed 200 mcd/m²/lux at 24 months.

Both systems carry a 24-month performance guarantee with a typical life expectancy of 36–60 months. When performance finally begins to decline, both can simply be over sprayed again, with no costly removal required.

Both systems carry a 24-month guaranteed performance period. Typical life expectancy is 36–60 months depending on location and traffic conditions.

Yes. When performance begins to decline, but remains above specification minimums, both systems can simply be over sprayed to restore retro-reflectivity. No removal is needed, and material build-up over time is not a concern.

Cold application eliminates burn risk to operatives, removes fossil-fuel heating equipment from the carriageway, and significantly reduces CO₂ by up to 89% less than thermoplastic for equivalent output. It’s also faster: HyperLine™ achieves in one shift what thermoplastic takes three to complete, meaning less traffic disruption and a shorter programme.

There has been a couple of crews doing the lining and antiskid works local to me on the new surfacing project on Callington road, Tavistock and the quality of work is spot on. Its done nothing but rain here for the last 2 months and as someone who spent over 25 years lining I can appreciate what they`ve been up against, especially with anti skid and MMA lining materials.
