Yesterday, Liam and Virginia had the pleasure of attending the incredible Business Fest South West 2025 event at Westpoint Exeter.

Business Fest South West 2025

With over 2,000 visitors from across the region, the event was a powerhouse of innovation, networking and inspiration. It was the perfect opportunity to connect with professionals, discover innovative products and services, and gain insights from some fantastic speakers in the business world.

One of the biggest highlights of Business Fest South West was the Notworking Networking and Friends zone, which took over the heart of Westpoint. The space was buzzing with energy as attendees connected over a game of curling from Hyped Events, indulged in delicious food from Winslade Manor, and even enjoyed unique experiences like tarot readings and relaxing massages. Who said networking had to be traditional?

Unscripted Marketing showcased their creativity by sending everyone on a scavenger hunt – which Virginia and Liam completed successfully! And we can’t forget the BYD karaoke car, we are looking forward to seeing videos of some brave singers.

Liam and Virginia were especially inspired by the incredible lineup of speakers, each bringing a fresh perspective. A standout was Ashley Leeds, the 15 minute guy, who dove straight into how LinkedIn is a fantastic networking app with over 1 billion members and how you can utilise the platform to the fullest!

Beyond the talks, the exhibition floor was a wonder in itself! The diversity of stands ranging from dazzling sequin displays to jaw dropping pyrotechnic showcases proved that creativity and business truly go hand in hand. Every corner of the venue was packed with passionate entrepreneurs eager to share their ideas and expertise.

Business Fest South West was an experience which left Liam and Virginia inspired and armed with new connections and insights! We look forward to next year already.

There has been a couple of crews doing the lining and antiskid works local to me on the new surfacing project on Callington road, Tavistock and the quality of work is spot on. Its done nothing but rain here for the last 2 months and as someone who spent over 25 years lining I can appreciate what they`ve been up against, especially with anti skid and MMA lining materials.
