QMS install innovative ScanMark™ in The Porsche dealership in Marsh Barton, Exeter. Who recently reached out to the team at QMS to see how we could help them improve the way they deliver important information about their cars to their customers. The company wanted to ensure all staff and customers were able to access up-to-date, useful information about all of their makes and models.

At Porshe, Exeter, the dealership has a dedicated ‘used’ car section, as the cars are often sold quickly and replaced the dealership wanted a cost-effective and sustainable solution, for non-paper-based vehicle details that are read by prospective customers.

These documents are often stuck to the windows of the car which could easily get damaged. Not to mention, the paper version can often look tatty, especially after removing it for the test drive. They also wanted to move towards an eco-friendly and paperless solution. Enter QMS.

How Did QMS Help Porsche Exeter With New ScanMark™ Technology?

The project, located at the Porsche dealership in Marsh Barton Exeter, was to complete new QR code markings for the up-and-coming approved car dealership. The answer for them was the QMS ScanMark™, made from highly durable material and installed by NVQ-trained line marking specialists the ScanMark™ can be applied to any parking space with custom branding, colour and size to suit the needs and desires of the end-user

Now, when their used-cars are sold, another car can be parked in the bay and the information is drag-n-dropped into the dashboard, so the QR code can then point to the updated cars information. The ScanMark system can be linked to almost anything, from a simple single-page PDF to an item on your website. With an easy drag-and-drop system to load the document to the ScanMark bays, when the vehicle is sold and another one moves in you can update the information just as fast.

Not only could the new system be applied to any space on the forecourt, but its sleek and attractive design meant that it fitted perfectly into the sophisticated car dealership.

There has been a couple of crews doing the lining and antiskid works local to me on the new surfacing project on Callington road, Tavistock and the quality of work is spot on. Its done nothing but rain here for the last 2 months and as someone who spent over 25 years lining I can appreciate what they`ve been up against, especially with anti skid and MMA lining materials.
