HyperLine™ and HyperLine™ ULTRA are high-performance, spray-applied road marking systems developed to maintain and rejuvenate existing markings. Both systems are cold-applied, eliminating the need for heat during installation and delivering significant benefits in terms of operator safety, environmental performance, and long-term durability.
Formulated using a solvent-free acrylic resin with embedded glass beads, these systems deliver enhanced and sustainable retro-reflectivity. Applied directly over existing markings, they restore colour, visibility, and retro-reflective performance — ensuring safer and clearer delineation for road users on Motorways and Dual Carriageways.
HyperLine™ offers outstanding all-round performance for the refurbishment of edge-line markings, while HyperLine™ ULTRA builds on this by delivering superior retro-reflectivity, particularly in wet-night conditions. Together, they provide a versatile and sustainable solution for road marking maintenance.
Standard colour is white, with other colours available subject to minimum order quantities.
HyperLine™ and HyperLine™ ULTRA have been rigorously tested with Road Trial Certification:
Both HyperLine™ systems are fully cold-applied, requiring no heat for materials, tools, or equipment. This ensures:
The surface to receive HyperLine™ / HyperLine™ ULTRA is to be clean, dry and free from contaminates such as dirt, grease, oils and road salt.
Pre-cleaning of the surface using mechanical sweeping or forced drying would be determined during a pre-site inspection.
Calculation of the dew point is critical for any surface treatment installation. This is determined by calculating the air temperature together with the humidity. In situations where the ground temperature is below the calculated dew point, forced drying and heating of the road surface is usually possible to maintain progress for installation.
When HyperLine™ or HyperLine™ ULTRA performance begins to decline but remains above specification minimums, both systems can be oversprayed again to restore retro-reflectivity.
By eliminating the need for heating, HyperLine™ significantly lowers CO₂ emissions. For 5,000 m² of marking:
This represents a saving of 17,395 kg CO₂ (89%) with HyperLine™ and 15,790 kg CO₂ (81%) with HyperLine™ ULTRA compared to thermoplastic.
Additionally, HyperLine™ achieves this in a single shift, whereas thermoplastic would require three shifts for the same output, compounding environmental savings and reducing traffic disruption.
Road markings account for up to 7% of global ocean microplastics. The HyperLine™ systems address this by using thin coatings whilst extending life expectancy and reducing material demand:
Over 5,000 m² of markings:
This results in reductions of 13,250 kg (76%) with HyperLine™ and 11,500 kg (66%) with HyperLine™ ULTRA in potential ocean microplastics.
With an average daily saving of 12,375 kg, over a standard working year (252 shifts) this equates to a potential reduction of 3,118 tonnes of ocean microplastics.
HyperLine™ and HyperLine™ ULTRA provide a next-generation solution for road marking refurbishment, combining:
By adopting HyperLine™ systems, stakeholders achieve cost-effective, high-performance road marking maintenance while supporting sustainable infrastructure and environmental protection.
