2023 Christmas Round Up

Its has been a crazy end to the year and we are excited for the next one!

We would like to take the opportunity to thank all of our amazing customers and suppliers for the support over 2023. It has been a fantastic year for the teams at QMS, delivering projects all over the UK from Lands End to John O Groats and don’t forget our friends in Ireland where we put the final line down on the massive project for Lidl. Our crews have put in some great work for some amazing customers and given them an experience that they will never forget!

Helping Others.

We are always looking for charities and local business that we can support and help where we can. This year our amazing teams have manages to raise funds for people living in food poverty in Teignbridge and Torbay, we have delivered 100 advent calendars and held a sock collection for Socktober to help the homeless keep their toes warm!

We also ditched the Secret Santa and worked with PATH Torbay to put together Christmas shoe boxes full of toys and essentials for children of all ages that are less fortunate than others this Christmas.

Our grand finale in December was to provide £540 of food and provisions to the PATH and HITS to further help those in real need this Christmas. The funding had been donated from the staff at QMS and one of our awesome suppliers Rodger’s Garage also contributed £100 into the pot!

Surface Treatments

The HFST team have SMASHED IT this year, installing our amazing QMS HyperGrip system across Devon and beyond. We have secured some fantastic new customers on on some amazing projects whilst working with our existing customers who can’t help but keep coming back. And who can blame them?

The teams have installed over 27,983m2 of various colours, shapes and sizes on all road types from private roads to major motorway networks for National Highways, and even a local charity to brighten up the entrance at Meadowside in Newton Abbot, all to the exact same high standard that our customers love!

Wrapping Things Up!

As Christmas approaches a lot of businesses start slowing down, but not QMS, this year is really ending on a high, working right up to the last minute to make sure that all of our customers are safe and satisfied before the Christmas break.

We are not in the business of letting people down, we are here to blow your socks off and deliver projects beyond what you could of imagined, in fact we have been so busy our management team have stepped in to get the works completed on time.

Contracts Managers Shaun and Vic have been out delivering HyperGrip across the county with the guys so that our customers can hand their project back on time.

Even our Managing Director Greg and Commercial Manager Liam Mead donned the uniform for a night when National Highways could not get their regular line markers to attend an emergency patching repair overnight on the M32 in Bristol. The call came into Greg from National Highways, estimate returned, order received, boots pulled on and off they went! Commercial manager Liam said, “Greg hasn’t forgotten anything, a proper white liner!

This leaves us to say goodbye to 2023, a final thank you to EVERYONE engaging with QMS and we wish you all a very MERRY CHRISTMAS and a truly fabulous NEW YEAR!

There has been a couple of crews doing the lining and antiskid works local to me on the new surfacing project on Callington road, Tavistock and the quality of work is spot on. Its done nothing but rain here for the last 2 months and as someone who spent over 25 years lining I can appreciate what they`ve been up against, especially with anti skid and MMA lining materials.
