Fairway to Devon 2025

What an incredible day it was on Friday 4th of July, and we aren’t just talking about the sunshine!

Fairway to Devon 2025 Round Up

8 July 2025 Virginia Scheuerle

Fairway to Devon marked its 7th year and is ‘probably the best organised golf day ever’ (quoted by David Cormack, MHE Labs) 😊

All 60 players united by a common goal: to raise vital funds for The Lighthouse Club.

We are thrilled to announce that this year’s event built on the tremendous success of previous years, continuing to be ‘Bigger and Better than ever’! The primary goal, as always, was to fundraise for The Lighthouse Club who provide emotional, physical and financial well-being to the construction community, a mission we are incredibly passionate about.

The day kicked off with warm breakfast rolls and coffee, setting the stage for a day packed with competitive challenges, laughter and delightful entertainment. Participants enjoyed halfway snacks, refreshing drinks, and a delicious post-match carvery. Beyond the fairways, the excitement continued with a generous £2,000 prize table and a charity auction featuring exclusive items.

The course at Dainton Park Golf Club was alive with vibrant entertainment which added to the fun! Many took on the ‘Beat-The-Pro’ challenge at the 8th Tee Box against the Advanced Professional Golfer Hannah Bowen. Paul Barrington’s impressive trick-shot show on the first tee drew crowds, and ‘Karaoke Klassics with Tasha’ brought some light-hearted fun to the 15th hole. A great blend of challenge and enjoyment for everyone.

We are over the moon to announce that we raised a total of £5,725, bringing our overall fundraising total for the years we’ve been running this event to £40,725! None of this would be possible without the generosity and involvement of all of our sponsors and participants.
