Line marking has traditionally been done using thermoplastic. However, this is slowly changing as people realise that cold-applied line markings are better for the environment and your staff! We offer a diverse portfolio of cold-applied line marking systems, and today we wanted to dive into detail on two specific systems HyperLine™ and QMS ColdMark.

HyperLine™

HyperLine™ is our multiple award-winning road marking system designed to provide you, your family and friends clear, defined road markings in ALL driving conditions! This system uses reflective recycled glass beads to ensure bright lines bounce back when your headlights reach them. To be precise, the reflectivity is 500 + mcd/m2/lux on application and is GUARANTEED to deliver 200mcd/m2/lux after 24 months and if not, we will replace it for free!

HyperLine™ is also incredibly environmentally friendly. This system reduces the CO2 impact on the environment by an astonishing 81% compared to traditional applications!

QMS ColdMark (MMA)

MMA markings, otherwise known as Methyl Methacrylate, are a cold-applied line marking system designed to ensure a fast application and long-lasting road marking. This system can be used for car parks, highways, walkways, cycle paths, and many more!

This system has reflective and visible benefits to inform users where they need to be on the road, especially unfamiliar roads on the darkest of evenings! QMS ColdMark can bond to a wide variety of road surfaces, including concrete, tarmac and asphalt. So, no matter what surface you have, QMS will be able to help.
