QMS Invests in New Traffic Management Vehicles

To support our ongoing work across the region, we have added two more dedicated traffic management vehicles to our fleet. These purpose-built vehicles allow our crews to deliver essential road network upgrades for Devon County Council safely and efficiently, with minimal disruption to local road users.

By adopting the RSMA’s updated Code of Practice for Traffic Management, our operatives take full control of site safety to create secure working zones across high-traffic junctions and narrow rural lanes. This investment guarantees seamless delivery across our Devon road marking schemes, keeping both our teams and the public safe.

Environmental First Solutions

QMS continues to deliver major infrastructure upgrades for Devon County Council, moving the network away from outdated thermoplastic markings and onto our advanced MMA (Methyl Methacrylate) cold-applied system.

MMA holds up far longer than thermoplastic, meaning fewer repeat visits and less ongoing maintenance. It also goes down cold, with no heating needed, which cuts the microplastic runoff reaching local waterways. That combination puts Devon County Council in a stronger position against its net-zero targets.

Installing Accessible Parking Spaces Across Devon

Accessible parking is another major strand of the work we’re delivering for Devon County Council, with high-visibility bays going in across key hubs like Exeter and Newton Abbot, and extending out to Barnstaple.
