Our Mission to Support 120 New Families This Christmas

There’s a special feeling when a community comes together, especially during the Christmas season, when support means the most. It’s a reminder that even small gestures, when combined, can create a wave of positive change.

This year we have shown what is possible when everyone comes together.

We have joined forces with Carysil to donate essential food and gifts to PATH Torbay, ensuring that the spirit of the season reaches those who need it most. PATH Torbay is a vital local charity dedicated to assisting individuals and families facing food poverty, the risk of homelessness, or personal crisis.

What makes PATH truly remarkable is that they are supported and run solely by a team of selfless volunteers. These individuals dedicate their time to acquire, assemble, and distribute food parcels and hot meals, while providing a compassionate support service to the vulnerable.

Currently, the demand for these services is rising. This year, PATH Torbay is supporting completely different families. Not only has the number of referrals jumped by 25%, but every single person asking for help is a new family who has never needed to reach out for support until now. It is a 100% fresh intake that is a quarter larger than the year before.

By coordinating our efforts with Carysil, our combined donations will support in the region of 120 families, allowing them to step away from the stress of crisis and enjoy a festive Christmas.
