Pete Nicholson – Rest in Peace

27th October 1961 to 17th November 2025

It is with great sadness that I inform you that our Finance Manager and dear friend, Pete Nicholson passed away on the 17th November 2025 aged 64.

Pete suffered a huge cardiac arrest which was unfortunately fatal and he passed away instantly.

Our thoughts are with his surviving widow Jill and their daughters Gaynor and Zita together with their three grandchildren at this very sad time.

Pete joined the Company 12 years ago today and was an extremely loyal and valued member of the team whom I was proud to call my friend; he will be very sadly missed.

As we all come to terms with his sudden passing, I ask for some extra leniency from our amazing supply chain whilst we look to fulfil Pete’s duties over these next few weeks.

I am extremely fortunate to have an amazing team around me at QMS and we shall all pull together to ensure that the ship continues to sail in the direction that Pete had been helping me to steer for the past twelve years.
