August brought the end of our trade year, bringing a mix of major contract starts, charity milestones, and an emotional farewell. Here is everything we got up to…
We completed our 4th karting race of the Devon Business League season at Raceworld. Across the four races, we’ve hit 195 points, with just over £10,900 raised for Hospiscare. Only the top teams go through to the next round, so this could be our last race of the season – or it might not be. Thank you to everyone who has supported us and been involved on this journey.
Following our successful award of the M6 Toll line marking and stud replacement contract, it’s been great to see the team on site. This multi-year agreement builds on our initial HyperLine™ work in 2025 and now adds EcoRib+™ and ColdMark™ alongside HyperLine™ and road studs. The M6 Toll carries over 50,000 vehicles a day; we take joy in knowing we are making every single one of those vehicles feel safer.
This month we said goodbye to Jenni, our Office Manager since 2017, who is off on a new adventure in Liverpool. For those of you who have had the pleasure of working with Jenni, you will know how huge an asset she has been at QMS during her time here. Her impact on the team will last a long time. Everyone at QMS wishes her the very best as she starts this next chapter.
Every year, we move the tools aside and bring the whole team together. On 18th September, our operations will be closed while we review our health and safety protocols and map out our future strategy. We will head into the afternoon with team building and a BBQ to celebrate a major milestone: 25 years of QMS.
With our 25th trade year wrapped up, taking time for our stand-down on the 18th September means we can reset properly before jumping straight into what is already shaping up to be a huge year. We look forward to sharing the next 12 months with you.
