This July, we hit our biggest Fairway to Devon total in eight years, picked up the M6 Toll line marking contract, and added two more vehicles to the fleet, all through a summer that’s already beaten 1976 for hot days. Here’s what kept us busy.
Awarded on the M6 Toll
The M6 Toll has awarded us the line marking and stud replacement contract, a multi-year deal that builds on the HyperLine™ work we started there in 2025.
The multi-year programme will see EcoRib+™, ColdMark™ and HyperLine™ used to deliver brighter, longer-lasting road markings across one of the UK’s busiest strategic routes, carrying more than 50,000 vehicles every day. The 2026 programme is due to finish at the end of August, with the next phase beginning in March 2027.
This contract reflects our commitment to delivering durable, high-performance road marking solutions that improve safety while minimising disruption for road users.
Expanding Our Traffic Management Fleet
July also saw two new traffic management vehicles join the fleet. Meet Stacey and Nessa.
Their arrival increases our capacity to deliver road line marking projects safely and efficiently, particularly on busy junctions and narrow rural roads across Devon and the South West. Working in line with the RSMA’s updated Code of Practice, our trained operatives provide comprehensive traffic management that protects both our workforce and the travelling public.
As demand continues to grow for accessible parking bays, highway maintenance and durable MMA road markings, this investment ensures we’re ready to support our clients with even greater efficiency.
Fairway to Devon
The sunshine was out as 20 teams joined us at Dainton Park Golf Club for the eighth Fairway to Devon charity golf day. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, players and supporters, together we raised an incredible £8,317 for Hospiscare, making it the most successful Fairway to Devon event to date.
A huge thank you goes to Geveko, Carysil, First Flexi Lease, SWARCO, every team that took part, and everyone who donated or helped make the day such a success. We’re incredibly grateful for your support and proud to continue giving back to our local community.
A Shoutout to Our Crews
With three heatwaves rolling through by mid-July alone, it hasn’t been an easy summer to be on site, and every one of our teams has shown up for it. Thank you for keeping the network moving, whatever the forecast throws at us next.
August is already shaping up to be another busy month as we complete the current phase of works on the M6 Toll and continue delivering road line marking and traffic management projects across the South West and beyond. For now, it’s heads down and business as usual, delivering the safe, durable line markings the network relies on.
