This June, QMS hit a major milestone, celebrated a brilliant rugby season, kept racing for charity, and got out on the road installing our EcoRib™ system on the strategic network. Here’s what kept us busy this month.

25 Years of QMS

On the 21^st of June, QMS officially turned 25. Our 25 days, 25 Stories took founders Greg and Ralph down memory lane, tracing our journey from a two-man Newton Abbot start-up. We revisited milestones like HyperLine™, with over six million metres installed, and our BBA-certified HyperGrip™. Through it all, 25 years of QMS has always been about the incredible people who built it.

End of Season Exeter Chiefs Dinner

We headed down to Sandy Park for the Exeter Chiefs End of Season Awards Dinner to properly celebrate both the men’s and women’s incredible year. Our partnership with the club and sponsorship of Ethan Roots has been a genuine highlight for QMS this year. Toasting their massive efforts on the pitch was the perfect way to close out a memorable year.

Round 3 Raceworld Construction Cup

Round 3 of the Construction Cup leaves us in 4th place alongside Carysil. The leaderboard is tight, but for us the focus is fundraising for Hospiscare. Off the circuit, the QMS team has shown incredible spirit, with staff personally donating 1% of their monthly salary to push our total even higher. There is still a lot of racing left to do, but the team has already won where it matters.

EcoRib™ installation

Our crews were out on the strategic road network this month delivering another EcoRib™ installation. It is brilliant to see this system scaling so fast following the launch at Highways UK last October. It uses a durable ribbed design paired with our HyperLine™ ULTRA acrylic overspray to deliver a long-lasting, eco-friendly marking that keeps drivers safe. It is a massive step forward for the network.

Looking ahead to July, we’re keeping the momentum going both on the roads and in the community. Keep an eye out for our Fairway to Devon charity golf day next month. Until then, our crews are fully focused on what we do best, delivering the high-performance line markings and safety surfaces that keep the UK network moving safely.
