QMS | March Round-Up 2026

30 March 2026 Virginia Scheuerle

After weeks of grey skies and relentless rain, the wettest winter Southern England has seen in over a decade, the sun finally showed up. Our crews were back out in full force and it was great to see them doing what they do best.

But the weather wasn’t the only reason to smile this month.

One Year of Precision in Action

March marked one full year since we hosted our debut Precision in Action event at Westpoint Arena, Exeter. We brought together local authority representatives, industry professionals and the very crews who deliver our work every day. From HyperLine™ and HyperGrip™ demonstrations, it was exactly the kind of event we always wanted to create. Not a standard demo day, but something people got stuck into and remembered.

A year on, those conversations are still going. We can’t wait to do it all again.

Greg at Intertraffic Amsterdam

Greg headed out to Amsterdam for Intertraffic 2026, his 12th time at the event and 24 years since QMS first walked through those doors. Conversations ranged from catching up with Aximum on our 2026 strategy, to personally thanking Zirocco whose HammerJet MAX turbine dryers have been flat out through the toughest winter we can remember. Greg also updated the Hofmann team on real-world performance of the EcoRib™ and ColdMark™ machines launched at Highways UK 2025. The forward order book is looking healthy.

A Night to Remember at Sandy Park

We’ve been sitting on this one for a little while, and now felt like the right time. As sponsors of both Ethan Roots and Brixham Rugby U14s, we worked with Exeter Chiefs to bring the two together at Sandy Park. Ethan, not long back from captaining England A against Ireland XV, led the squad through a training session before taking them on a behind the scenes tour of the stadium. The changing rooms, the pitch, the parts of professional rugby most people never see.

For a group of boys who give everything for their club every Sunday, we hope they left Sandy Park believing in themselves a little more than when they arrived.

Fairway to Devon 2026 – SOLD OUT!

The playing spots for Fairway to Devon 2026 are officially sold out and we could not be more excited about the day we are building. Returning to Dainton Park Golf Club on Friday 17th July in aid of Hospiscare, we are cranking things up with the legendary David Edwards, Beat the Pro with Hannah Bowen, and of course the return of Karaoke Klassics on the 15th. If you still want to be part of the day, sponsorship opportunities are available and we would love to have you involved.
