Frequently Asked Questions

We offer three application methods: machine screed for carriageway installations where markings don’t exist or have deteriorated beyond recognition; hand screed for detailed work like arrows, letters, and junction markings; and spray application for refurbishing worn markings or low-traffic areas such as waiting restrictions. Each method maintains the same high-performance standards.

Yes, cold-applied line marking can be overmarked without removal when existing markings are well-worn and the surface remains sound. This avoids unnecessary waste generation, reduces surface disturbance, and minimises microplastic impact.

Surfaces must be clean, dry, and free from contaminants. We conduct free no obligation pre-site inspections to determine whether mechanical sweeping or forced drying is necessary.

Machine screed and spray applications achieve up to 500m² per 8-hour shift, whilst hand screed delivers up to 100m² per shift. (500m² equates to approximately 5,000m of 100mm wide line or 2,500m of 200mm wide line)
